Musteriu Grup: Musterii Mesaje: 38 Inscris: 4 December 03 Forumist Nr.: 1.371	Am inceput sa ma gandesc la acest subiect urmarind acest forum.De multe ori in cadrul dezbaterilor se ajunge in situatii jenante,cel putin pentru cei care se pretind a fi urmasii Celui care predica sa-ti iubesti vrajmasii si sa intorci si obrazul celalalt atunci cand primesti o palma.M-am tot intrebat de ce s-a ajuns aici.Iata cateva din motivatiile care stau la baza intolerantei:lipsa argumentelor,madrie personala,credinta ca numai religia sa este adevarata si celelte sunt eretice,vorbirea dupa ureche si lista ar putea continua.Nu pot sa cred ca aceasta poate fi o atitudine de crestini maturi,de oameni care sustin ca-L slujesc pe Dumnezeu 24 de ore pe zi.Intorenta a exista inca de la inceputuri si cred ca va exista atata timp cat va exista pamantul.Dar acum vreau sa va invit la un moment de refectie si fiecare din noi sa mediteze la cat de tolerant sau intolerant este atunci cand are o discutie cu cineva din alta confesiune religioasa,atunci cand cineva iti expune un punct de vedere diferit de al tau,cum reactionezi?Este atitudinea ta crestineasca?Sau...Cum implinim noi voia lui Hristos?Certandu-ne la nesfarsit si neajungand la nici un rezultat?Oare nu ar fi mai intelept sa facem ce spunea Pavel in Fipeni cap 3 ver 15 si 16....si daca in vreo privinta santeti de alta parere,Dunezeu va va lumina si in aceasta privinta.Dar in lucrurile in care am ajuns de acees parere ,sa umblam la fel.Oare este prea mult pentru noi?Astept opiniile voastre.

"The Crusaders spent at least that night and the next day killing Muslims. Not even women and children were spared. The city's Jews sought refuge in their synagogue, only to be burned alive within it by the Crusaders. Raymond of Aquilers reported that he saw "piles of heads, hands and feet" on a walk through the holy city. Men trotted across the bodies and body fragments as if they were a carpet for their convenience. The Europeans also destroyed the monuments to Orthodox Christian saints and the tomb of Abraham.

The massacre was policy: "They desired that this place, so long contaminated by the superstition of the pagan inhabitants, should be cleansed from their contagion." The Crusaders intended Jerusalem to be a Christian city--and strictly a Latin Christian city.

The Crusaders cut open the stomachs of the dead because someone said that the Muslims sometimes swallowed their gold to hide it. Later, when the corpses were burned, Crusaders kept watch for the melted gold that they expected to see flowing onto the ground. While the slaughter was still going on, many churchmen and princes assembled for a holy procession. Barefoot, chanting and singing, they walked to the shrine of the Holy Sepulcher through the blood flowing around their feet. The Crusaders recorded that "...our men rode in the blood of the Muslims up to the knees of their horses."

"Some of our men (and this was more merciful) cut off the heads of their enemies; others shot them with arrows, so that they fell from the towers; others tortured them longer by casting them into the flames. Piles of heads, hands, and feet were to be seen in the streets of the city. It was necessary to pick one's way over the bodies of men and horses. But these were small matters compared to what happened at the Temple of Solomon, a place where religious services are ordinarily chanted. What happened there? If I tell the truth, it will exceed your powers of belief. So let it suffice to say this much, at least, that in the Temple and porch of Solomon, men rode in blood up to their knees and bridle reins. Indeed, it was a just and splendid judgment of God that this place should be filled with the blood of the unbelievers, since it had suffered so long from their blasphemies.
