Dau citeva exemple :

Abu Jafar Muhammad ibn al-Hasan Al-Khazini (900 - 971), was a Persian astronomer and mathematician from Khorasan.
He worked on both astronomy and number theory.
Abu Sa'id al-Darir al-Jurajani (أبو سعيد الضرير الجرجاني), also spelled Gorgani, was a ninth century Persian mathematician and astronomer from Gorgan, Iran.
He wrote a treatise on geometrical problems and another on the drawing of the
meridian.

Abul Wafa Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Yahya Ibn Ismail Buzjani (940 – 997 or 998) was a Persian mathematician and astronomer. He was born in Buzhgan, Nishapur in Iran.
He devised a wall quadrant for the accurate astronomy measurement of the declination of stars. He also introduced the tangent function and improved methods of calculating trigonometry tables and developed novel ways of solving some problems of spherical triangles.

He established the trigonometric identities:

sin(a + b) = sin(a)cos(b) + cos(a)sin(b)
cos(2a) = 1 − 2sin2(a)
sin(2a) = 2sin(a)cos(a)
and discovered the sine formula for spherical geometry (which looks similar to the law of sines):
Abu Zaid Ahmed ibn Sahl al-Balkhi was a Persian mathematician who lived in the 10th century.
Born in Shamistiyan, in the Persian province of Balkh (Present Day Afghanistan), he was a member of the Imamiya sect and a disciple of al-Kindi.

Athir al-Din Mufaddal ibn Umar al-Abhari (1200 - 1265), was a Persian philosopher and mathematician from Abhar, Zanjan, Iran.
He wrote The Kitab at-Hiddyah dealing with a complete cycle of Hikmat, i.e., logic, natural philosophy, and metaphysics.

Kamal al-Din Abul Hasan Muhammad Al-Farisi

(1260 - 1320) was a prominent Persian mathematician and physicist.
He made two major contributions to mathematics, one on optics, the other on number theory. His work on light, colour and the rainbow is discussed in 'Dictionary of Scientific Biography (New York 1970-1990)',

Abu-l-Fath Mahmud ibn Mohammed ibn Qasim ibn Fadl al-Isfahani was a 10th century Persian mathematician.
He flourished probably around 982AD in Isfahan.
He gave a better Arabic edition of the Conics of Apollonius and commented on the first books.

Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Karaji (Arabic: ابو بكر محمد بن الحاسب الكرجي) (c.953 –c.1029), was a Muslim mathematician and engineer of Persian background. His three major works are Al-Badi' fi'l-hisab (Wonderful on calculation), Al-Fakhri fi'l-jabr wa'l-muqabala (Glorious on algebra), and Al-Kafi fi'l-hisab (Sufficient on calculation).

Abu Abdallah Mohammed ibn Isa al-Mahani, was a Persian mathematician and astronomer from Mahan, Kerman, Persia
Ahmad ibn 'Abdallah Habash al-Hasib al-Marwazi (Arabic: أحمد بن عبد الله المروازي حباش الحاسب) was a Persian astronomer and mathematician from Merv in Khorasan, Persia.
He flourished in Baghdad, and died a centenarian between 864 and 874. He worked under the Abbasid caliphs al-Ma'mun and al-Mu'tasim.
He made observations from 825 to 835, and compiled three astronomical tables

Abū’l-‘Abbās al-Fazl ibn Ḥātim al-Nairīzī (Arabic: أبو العباس الفضل بن حاتم النيريزي‎ Latin name: Anaritius), was a 9-10th century Persian mathematician and astronomer from Nayriz, a town near Shiraz, Fars, Iran.
He flourished under al-Mu'tadid, Caliph from 892 to 902, and compiled astronomical tables, writing a book for al-Mu'tadid on atmospheric phenomena.
Nayrizi wrote commentaries on Ptolemy and Euclid. The latter were translated by Gerard of Cremona. Nairizi used the so-called umbra (versa), the equivalent to the tangent, as a genuine trigonometric line (but he was anticipated in this by al-Marwazi).

Abu Sa'id Ahmed ibn Mohammed ibn Abd al-Jalil al-Sijzi (short for al-Sijistani) was a Persian mathematician.
Sijistan from the word Sagz is a region in southeast and east in current Iran. It is mentioned in abundance in the Shahnama. Sijzi was a Mathematician who made a special study of the intersections of conic sections and circles. He replaced the old kinematical trisection of an angle by a purely geometric solution (intersection of a circle and an equilateral hyperbola.)

Abu Hamid Ahmed ibn Mohammed al-Saghani al-Asturlabi, i. e., the astrolabe maker of Saghan, near Merv, was a Persian astronomer. He flourished in Baghdad, where he died in 990 AD.
An inventor and maker of instruments, he worked in Sharaf al-dawla's observatory and, perhaps, constructed the instruments which were used there. Worked on the Trisection of the angle.

Abu l'Hasan Ali ibn Ahmad Al-Nasawi (Arabic: أبو الحسن علي بن أحمد النسوي), also spelled Nasavi, (1010 - 1075), was a Persian mathematician from Khurasan, Iran.
He flourished under the Buwayhid sultan Majd al-dowleh, who died in 1029-30AD, and under his successor. He wrote a book on arithmetic in Persian, and then Arabic, entitled the "Satisfying (or Convincing) on Hindu Calculation" (al-muqni fi-l-hisab al hindi). He also wrote on Archimedes's lemmata and Menelaus's theorem (Kitab al-ishba, or "satiation"). where he made corrections to The Lemmata as translated into Arabic by Thabit ibn Qurra, which was last revised by Nasir al-Din al-Tusi.
Nasawi's arithmetic explains the division of fractions and the extraction of square and cubic roots (square root of 57,342; cubic root of 3, 652, 296) almost in the modern manner. It is remarkable that al-Nasawi replaces sexagesimal by decimal fractions.

Ja'far ibn Muhammad Abu Ma'shar al-Balkhi (787 - 886), known as Albumasar, was a Persian astronomer, astrologer and mathematician from Balkh, in today's Afghanistan.
Many of his works were translated into Latin and were well known in Europe where he was called Albumasar.

Abu Rayhan Biruni (Persian: ابوریحان بیرونی; Arabic: أبو الريحان البيروني) (September 15, 973–December 13, 1048) was a Persian mathematician, physicist, scholar, encyclopedist, philosopher, astronomer, astrologer, traveller, historian, pharmacist, and teacher, who contributed greatly to the fields of mathematics, philosophy, medicine, and science. Al-Biruni crater, on the Moon, is named after him.
He was born in Khwarazm (formerly north-western Persia (Iran) at the time under the Persian Samanids) presently in Khiva Uzbekistan. He studied mathematics and astronomy under Abu Nasr Mansur.
He was a colleague of the fellow Persian Muslim philosopher and physician Ibn Sina

Abu Ishaq Ibrahlm ibn Habib ibn Sulaiman ibn Samura ibn Jundab al-Fazari (Persian: أبو يشاق يبرهيم إبن حبيب إبنسليمان إبن سمورا إبن جندب الفزارى) was an 8th century Persian from Kunduz now part of Afghanistan he was mathematician and astronomer at the Abbasid court of the Caliph Harun al-Rashid. He is not to be confused with his son Mohammad al-Fazari, also an Astronomer.

Abu abdallah Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Fazari (d. 796 or 806) was a Persian philosopher, mathematician and astronomer. He is not to be confused with his father Ibrahim al-Fazari, also an astronomer and mathematician.
He is credited to have built the first astrolabe in the Islamic world. (Richard Nelson Frye, The Golden Age of Persia, p. 163).

Ghiyaseddin Jamsheed Kashani (1380 – 22 June 1429) was a Persian astronomer and mathematician. His name also appears as Al-Kashi. He was born in Kashan, Iran.

Omar Khayyám (May 18, 1048 – December 4, 1131, in Persian عمر خیام), was born in Nishapur, Persia (Iran). He was originally named Ghiyath al-Din Abu'l-Fath Omar ibn Ibrahim Al-Nisaburi Khayyámi Khayyám (خیام) is an Arabic loanword meaning "tentmaker".
He was famous during his lifetime as a mathematician, well known for inventing the method of solving cubic equations by intersecting a parabola with a circle. Although his approach at achieving this had earlier been attempted by Menaechmus and others, Khayyám provided a generalization extending it to all cubics. In addition he discovered the binomial expansion, and authored criticisms of Euclid's theories of parallels which made their way to Europe, where they contributed to the eventual development of non-Euclidean geometry.
He was famous in Persian and Islamic world for his astronomical observations. He built a (now lost) map of stars in the sky.

Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī (Arabic: محمد بن موسى الخوارزمي) was a Iranian Chorasmian[1] al-Khwarzimi. Pythagoras 38 (1998) no. 2, pp. 4-5.</ref> mathematician, astronomer, astrologer and geographer. He was born around 780, in either Khwarizm or Baghdad, and died around 850.
He was the author of al-Kitāb al-muḵtaṣar fī ḥisāb al-ǧabr wa-al-muqābala, the first book on the systematic solution of linear and quadratic equations. Consequently he is considered to be the father of algebra,[1] a title he shares with Diophantus. The word algebra is derived from al-ǧabr, one of the two operations used to solve quadratic equations, as described in his book. Algoritmi de numero Indorum, the Latin translation of his other major work on the Indian numerals, introduced the positional number system and the number zero to the Western world in the 12th century. The words algorism and algorithm stem from Algoritmi, the Latinization of his name.[2] His name is also the origin of the Spanish word guarismo, meaning digit.

Abu Sahl Wijan (or Waijan) ibn Rustam al-Kuhi (also al-Quhi), was a Persian mathematician and astronomer.

Abu-l-Hasan Kushayr ibn Labban ibn Bashahri al-Jili (971 - 1029), was a Persian mathematician, geographer, and astronomer from Jilan, a.k.a. Gilan, south of the Caspian Sea, Iran.

Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Nahavandi was a Persian astronomer of the 7th and 8th centuries. His name indicates that he was from Nahavand, a city in Iran.
He lived and worked at the Academy of Gundishapur, in Khuzestan, Iran, at the time of Yahya ibn Khalid ibn Barmak, who died in 803AD, where he is reported to have been making astronomical observations around the year 800AD

Sharafeddin Muzzafar-i Tusi (1135 - 1213) was a Persian mathematician of the Middle Ages.
Tusi taught various mathematical topics including the science of numbers, astronomical tables and astrology, in Aleppo and Mosul. His best pupil was Kamal al-Din ibn Yunus. In turn Kamal al-Din ibn Yunus went on to teach Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, one of the most famous of all the Islamic scholars of the period. By this time Tusi seems to have acquired an outstanding reputation as a teacher of mathematics for some travelled long distances hoping to become his students.
Tusi wrote some treatises on algebra. There, he went on to give what we would essentially call the Ruffini-Horner method for approximating the root of a cubic equation. Although this method had been used by earlier Arabic mathematicians to find approximations for the nth root of an integer, Tusi is the first that we know who applied the method to solve general equations of this type.
Another famous work by Tusi is one in which he describes the linear astrolabe, sometimes called the "staff of al-Tusi", which he invented.

Abu Jafar Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn al-Hasan Nasir al-Din al-Tusi (also known as Nasir al-Din Tusi) (1201–1274) was a Persian scientist, of Shi'a Islamic belief, born in Tus, Khorasan, Iran. He is known as a philosopher, mathematician, astronomer, theologian, physician, and a prolific writer, i.e., he was a polymath.
He was perhaps the first to treat trigonometry as a separate mathematical discipline and in his Treatise on the Quadrilateral he was the first to list the six distinct cases of a right angled triangle in spherical trigonometry.

Nazif ibn Yumn al-Qass, was a Persian mathematician of the middle ages.
He flourished under the Buwayhid sultan Adud al-dowleh; and died in 990 AD. He was also a translator of Greek into Arabic, translating the Tenth book of Euclid.

Fratii Bani Musa :

Ahmed ibn Musa ibn Shakir Banu Musa, also Bani Musa, (805 - 873), was a 9th century Persian mathematician from Baghdad, the middle of the Banu Musa brothers.

He wrote one text under his own name, a treatise on pneumatic devices with the title On Mechanics. Another text on the theory of the balance was written by the three brothers but probably Ahmad played the leading role.

al-Hasan ibn Musa ibn Shakir Banu Musa, also Bani Musa, (810–873), was a 9th century Persian mathematician and astronomer who lived in Baghdad.

He wrote The elongated circular figure which is a work on the ellipse. This book is lost except for a fragment in Hebrew of a compilation by Ibn al-Samh

Ja‘far Mu'ammad ibn Mūsā ibn Šākir (800 - 873), was a 9th century Persian mathematician and astronomer from Baghdad, the eldest of the Banu Musa brothers.

In addition to making major contributions to geometry texts, Jafar Muhammad also wrote Premises of the book of conics which was a critical revision of Apollonius's Conics.
