Incercam aici sa raspundem majoritatii intrebarilor legate de cel mai mare motor de cautare:
Vom adauga periodic intrebarea si raspunsul aferent.
Asadar, pentru inceput:

Ce inseamna Google?
Google provine de la 'Googol', un termen matematic ce desemneaza un numar imens: 10 la puterea 100, termen mentionat pentru prima data de catre Edward Casner, in cartea 'Matematica si Imaginatie', pentru a descrie un numar extraordinar de mare.
In acelasi timp, cuvantul Google isi are radacinile in 'GooglePlex', care reprezinta un numar si mai mare: 10 la puterea Googol (adica 10 la puterea 10 la puterea 100 blink.gif )
De ce Google? Pentru ca suna bine, si are doar 6 caractere, spune purtatorul de cuvant ale companiei.
Google indexeaza in acest moment peste 3 miliarde de pagini...pe cand un Googol?
Google se pronunta Gu:Gall (multi folosesc insa exprimarea Gah-Gull).
