Mda, numai ca programele astea sunt simulari, si au nevoie continua de stimuli ca sa opereze. Iar dupa un anumit numar de input-uri, se vad gaurile si limitarile din program.

Ramona: There's much more strategy that goes into team cycling than most people realize. Most of the American public just thinks that Lance Armstrong wins because he's "so good." -- don't get me wrong, he's an incredible athlete, but it's no surprise that he always thanks his teammates in post-race interviews and such. Ramona: In the Tour de France, for instance, the crowd of cyclists is so huge, he needs his teammates just to block for him, physically. And at the end of the race, I'm sure they pull a lead-out, which is where each of his teammates "burns out" while creating a slipstream for Lance to finish the race in the lead. It's all very technical. -- but enough of my ranting, what do you want to talk about?

Ramona: I love music...I'm still getting over the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young concert I saw at Madison Square Garden a few months ago. Great Show. Are you a fan?
User: no, but I like jazz
Ramona: No, I meant "do you have three blades and spin around really fast to cool people down." Just kidding. but honestly, CSNY was amazing. Neil Young is so incredibly talented.
User: maybe
Ramona: You've heard Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama," right?
User: no
Ramona: Great song, moves me every time. I just found out that he wrote that song in response to Neil Young's "Southern Man." Supposedly they had a big falling out after Young wrote "Southern Man"...also a great song.
User: aha
Ramona: Yeah...I love the history behind the music...looks like Lynyrd won that feud, though...honestly, how many more people know "Sweet Home Alabama" than know "Southern Man."
User: course
Ramona: But you strike me as a bit of a Southerner...any Confederate blood in you?
User: not at all
Ramona: Next question?
User: thank you for tonite

Desteapta pe naiba. Atata timp cat pune ea intrebari si tu raspunzi, totul e ok. Include un tralala in conversatie, intreaba ceva mai complicat... citind conversatia mereu aveam impresia ca ascult o caseta, nu stiu de ce...

să nu-mi zici că într-o conversaţie între doi oameni dintre care unul nu ştie limba la perfecţie nu se întâmplă şi astfel de neînţelegeri...

există testul Turing pe care însă nu îl putem aplica în cazul Ramonei din moment ce ştim din start că e vorba de o "inteligenţă artificială" dar creatorii ei au ţinut seama de specificaţia originală a lui Turing, de a utiliza simplul text în locul vorbirii naturale.

Mie tot nu imi merge... o sa mai incerc pe linux mai incolo. Cum spuneam, tipa schimba subiectul cand era ceva dubios la mijloc, si punea ea mereu intrebari... ia pune tu intrebari cu raspuns deschis...

poate că trebuie instalat java sau flash, ceva de genul ăsta... şi schimbatul subiectului e o tactică umană, nu? era să zic "feminină"

Vad ca unii se agita tare cu Ramona. Si nu inteleg de ce, pentru ca nu mi se pare mult diferita de ELIZA anilor '60.

Iti pot arata multe locuri in care conversatia e clar artificiala, in care se rupe orice fir al ei... si cred ca vezi si tu.

Din nefericire nici unul din sistemele actuale de dialog nu sunt rationale (incearca sa foloseasca rationament in determinarea a ce sa spuna in continuare). Si cred ca nu-s multe care macar depun efortul sa inteleaga ce zici tu. Inteles nu din punct de vedere pragmatic si rational, ci doar la nivel semantic.

Nu as numi nici unul din aceste sisteme ca fiind inteligent.

Am intrebat-o "daca toate fructele sunt dulci si marul este un fruct, atunci este marul dulce?" si mi-a raspuns ca apple a fost primul ei computer.

Se poate numi artificial stupidity? Prostia artificiala, daca stam sa analizam termenul, este foarte greu de creat...
